Returning Devices
Any student not enrolled in summer school needs to return their devices (laptops/ipads), hotspots, etc on their last day of school. For students attending in-person please make sure your student leaves their device with their teacher on their last day. For student learning remotely families can either drop off technology that last day of school, Friday June 18th, or the following Monday June 21st.
News from Ms. Tin
It is with heartfelt words that I write this to let you know that I will be leaving Beacon Hill International School at the end of the year. I have made the decision to step away from school administration to find balance and return to instructional coaching or teaching. It has been an honor to serve as the assistant principal for the past four years. BHIS is a very special place because of the people. Thank you to all of you. Thank you for the meaningful conversations that pushed our practice and made us a stronger school. I have learned so much from your children, families, and community partnerships. I am forever grateful for your dedication to our school community and I will look back on my time at Beacon Hill as a highlight of my professional career. I have no doubt that the brilliance of BHIS will continue to shine with the leadership of Ms. Sahnica Washington at the helm. I hope you continue doing things from your soul. It will create ripples like the tides of the ocean that will bring change. It will bring freedom. It will bring joy.

Please return any books your family may have out from our library. We are getting ready to do our yearly inventory and need them back, so all students can enjoy them. Borrow a Discover Pass for summer hiking and recreation. Just in time for hiking season, you can now check out Discover Passes through The Seattle Public Library for a period of two weeks, just as you would a book. The Discover Pass offers you access to millions of acres of state recreation lands in Washington, including more than 100 developed state parks and nearly 700 water-access points. Go to SPL’s online catalogue to put one on hold for your family. This is through the state’s Check Out Washington program.

Retorno de dispositivos
Cualquier estudiante que no esté inscrito en la escuela de verano, deberá regresar sus dispositivos (laptops / ipads), hotspots, etc, en su último día de clases.
