In order to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Governor of Washington State has closed all schools until at least April 27th. All after school activities, events, childcare, and sports are also cancelled.
We are all feeling the challenge of this uncertain time. But there are resources and opportunities to help each other. We will update this blog post weekly with more resources and information about school closure.

How can you help? Purchase a grocery gift card or restaurant (for takeout/delivery) gift card to donate to Beacon Hill families. Or stay tuned for our fundraiser to get needed funds in the hands of families
We do not want to encourage you to go out shopping only to purchase gift cards. Purchase grocery e-gift cards for families (Safeway Fred Meyer, or for Red Apple gift cards, you can Venmo or PayPal funds to Callista Chen or Peter Ehrenkranz, who have volunteered to consolidate our order and purchase the cards all at once. Please email Callista at callista.chen@gmail.com and put BHIS Red Apple Gift Card in the subject.
If you do have real gift cards to donate, please email info@beaconhillpta.org for the drop-off address. Do not drop off at school (it is closed!).
