Dear Beacon Hill Families,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! We are eager to work alongside all of you. As your new administration team, we anticipate continuing the great work that BHIS has done thus far. We are proud to join this team to fulfill the mission of creating life-long learners that are critical thinkers and global citizens. We also intend to prioritize our district’s initiatives and areas of focus: High-quality instructionCulture of care, and Responsiveness. To do this well, we must create strong relationships and trust. We look forward to establishing regular listening and learn opportunities to hear from you. In addition, we will attend established family meetings (i.e. PTA and Black Family Council). Please know our door is always open, so feel free to reach out if you have questions/comments/concerns.

As a school community and district, we are excited to be back in-person full-time, working in partnership with you and the community, to develop and grow each individual student. School bell times will be 7:55am-2:25pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). On Wednesdays bell times will be 7:55-1:10pm. Given Covid-19 is still in our mist we will be working to prioritize the health and safety of all, by following the guidelines we receive from the CDC and our district. This means some restrictions will continue; but we will continue to engage with our community and make connections across the school year. Collectively we will remain flexible because we know guidance can change. Please see the links with more information on our district page.
